About

Allison is many things and, at the moment, is really happy about it.

Allison is a Co-Founder of Lively Productions and is currently a Co-Artistic Director with Jen Jamula. Through Lively Productions, Allison and Jen conceived, produced and performed in the inaugural production of Blogologues at Under St. Marks in May 2011, which was then invited back to perform once a month as a co-production from August through January. Allison and Jen also launched a vlog together in August 2010, Why Are You On My Train, in which they interview strangers on the New York City subway. In the past year, the site has been featured in The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Refinery29 and more.

In addition to her newfound love for creating theatrical experiments with her colleague Jen, Allison has performed in most of Lively Productions’ Manhattan-based productions, including the award-winning Fringe Festival hit “Paper Dolls.” Other performance credits include Revolution on the Roof (FringeNYC), Macbeth (OTE, Theater Row), Writers’ Colony (Fresh Fruit Festival), Cinderella’s Mice (Vital Theatre Company), and the Hoop Dee Doo Revue (Disney). She has also performed in several new works with Artistic New Directions, most recently as Patti in a new play based on the NYC Department of Education re-assignment centers. Voice over clients include Lego and TD Canada Trust.

Allison’s artistic projects and former position for the Brand & Corporate Citizenship team at Edelman have led her  to engage in freelance marketing and social media. Allison built, launched and continues to run goodpurposeblog.com, which shares insights related to Edelman’s annual goodpurpose® study, and she currently works for her friend, the talented designer Daniel Friedman, whose work has recently been featured in Design*Sponge, 2Modern, Desire to Inspire, 10 Answers and more.

Allison graduated cum laude from Yale University with degrees in Theater Studies and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations and has been a member of Actors Equity Association since 2006.
